#27- Amityville horror house

Before we depart for our next dreadful destination, I have to share with you what I got done today! But because of my crappy camera, you can't tell what I got done today. Stupid crappy camera...They're my "nightmare before christmas" nails. jack, sally & oogie...I get them done every year for Halloween because it feeds my "nightmare before christmas" obsession. I don't think I've told you about that....

ok, off we go to visit another sinister site....

#27 - Amityville house, Long Island, New York

By far the creepiest house in the country. I take that back. It's the creepiest house ANYWHERE! I don't know if I can I can do this. Between the bunnyman and beheadings, I'm really starting to freak myself out.
Everyone knows the story of the DeFeo murders on November 13, 1974. The oldest son, Ronald DeFeo Jr., claims he was possessed by some evil spirit that forced him to shoot and kill his parents, brother, and 2 sisters. Subsequently, The house remained vacant for a year until George and Kathleen Lutz  bought it in December 1975. The hauntings began almost immediately.
This is where I stop. If you want to know exact details and accounts of what happened, you're on your own. I'm outta here...This place scares the hell out of me and I'm only talking about it long enough to include it on the list. Amityville, family murdered, hauntings... the end. I can't even look at the picture...I think I'm going to watch Mary Poppins or 101 Dalmations to un-freak myself out and gear up for tomorrow. On second thought, maybe 101 Dalmations isn't such a good idea. Cruella Deville scares the hell out of me, too.

                     *footnote*
does anyone else feel like those windows are eyes staring out at you? It's like it's daring you to come in. Ya, I don't think so.....I just read it's for sale for $1.15 million if you're interested. Anyone? Anyone?
