# 30- A terrifying "tail"

 #30- Bunnyman Bridge

Tonight's terrifying "tail" comes to you from Fairfax County, Virginia. Legend has it that a violent and insane man escaped a bus crash during a  transfer of mental patients sometime in the 1940's....(yes, he was one of the mental patients.(violent and insane should be your first clues that maybe he was a few mcnuggets short of a happy meal) He hid out in the woods, feeding off rabbits. The Carcasses of dead bunnies were found around the bridge and grisly murders were discovered. Another variation tells of a deranged lunatic dressed in a bunny suit that killed children with an axe. Neither version is pleasant. In the 60's, 3 teenagers were found hung from the bridge. All told there were between 10-15 documented murders at the site. The bunnyman's spirit and those of his victims are said to haunt the bridge...YOU THINK??? And of course nothing like that would ever happen at a bridge that looks like this. It's so charming! Especially at night! Ummm..ya, no....I would happily visit Mrs. Lilly- victim of the beast, a bazillion times before I'd go anywhere near this place. And besides being a homicidal maniac, I bet he was smarmy. I've never met a homicidal maniac that wasn't...

Well, the countdown continues tomorrow night. Maybe smarmy rabbit-clad homicidal maniacs are peaches compared to what could be coming next....

                     *footnote*
In case you feel the need to visit this charming and un-scary bridge, don't stop under it and turn your car off.  They say it won't start again (your car...not the bridge)  I have no idea who "they" are, but  I would strongly advise listening  to them...I also can't stop thinking about all those poor bunnies...stupid smarmy homicidal maniac....
